One of the most challenging stages for all who aspire in the internet marketing is making that first $100 from Google. If you made your first $100 in your first week, you may be one in a billion marketers out there that was able to do that. All of us have to toil day and night before we see that first sweet check. Marketers have to go through hundreds or even thousands of software, web-based internet marketing tools before they actually get some parts of it. Take note: some parts of it. The internet is an ever evolving world that by the time you get the main point and tricks to do it, something new has come out and you have to adapt, unlearn and relearn the industry from the scratch.

Unfortunately, some of the internet marketers give up even before they see their first check. That is understandable since this is a very demanding occupation. You may be stuck in front of your laptop for most of the day and week, paying people to write, writing yourself, editing the website and spending some money in your end to get the information you want. Believe me, it’s really tiring and without enough support, you might end up from the very beginning without any clear of earnings.

What does this industry require? First of all is knowledge. The dawn of the 21st century business is based on the things that we know. We can still say that business can still be based on the things that we have but I have seen people who earn literally thousands of dollars with just a laptop as a tool in making money. It’s not because of the technology that he can muster but on the things that the marketer knows. Sure there are free information on the Internet but these information have become excessive that we really don’t know which is right and wrong. We need something definitive and some have established a reputation of giving the right information and at the right time.

The next thing that you should have is persistence. Yep, the good old persistence is needed to excel in this world of internet marketing. I think I may be right in saying that all marketing people have to be persistent in order to excel in this game. Day after day, frustration after frustration should not let you down. Every day you have to overcome this obstacle and just sit in front of your PC and do those things over and over again until you figure them out and get the first check. Believe me, after months of persistence, the first check is undoubtedly the sweetest.

Last but not the least is support. Now this part is a bit cheesier than what I have said but we humans are only as good as the people around us. Surround yourself with successful people, positive people and people who are there to help you in live.

The Internet is out there, with enough persistence, knowledge and support; it won’t be long before you get your hand on the first check that you will cherish forever.
