Ok, so here we are yet again discussing another trick that is based on the use of keywords. In this article we are going to discuss a keyword based trick that is usually overlooked by a lot of people.
You must have observed that a lot of people use sub titles or sub headings in their articles and web pages e.g. a website that sells insurance might have a web page that explains various insurance related terms to their readers / prospective-customers. Each of these terms might be used as a sub title or header followed by an explanation of what it means. Now, the general tendency is to use either style sheets or just use the <B> tag for sub-headers and sub-titles. A lot of times people forget that another wonderful category of tags (the header tags) also exist. However, these tags (H1 through to H5) should actually form an integral part of your SEO strategy. This strategy involves including a keyword or two in headings (within the header tags).
Just in case you have not realised, this is a two-part search engine optimization strategy. The first part of the strategy is to select a proper sub title or sub heading. You should frame the sub title / heading in such a way that it contains one or two relevant keywords / keyphrases e.g. if “Search enginge optimization” is a keyword / keyphrase for you and you are discussing keywords, then instead of saying “keyword tricks” you are better off using “Search enginge optimization: Keyword tricks” as your sub heading / title.
The second part of the strategy is to encompass this sub heading/ title in header tags (H1, H2, H3, H4 and H5). This is important because search engines and their web spiders are able to understand the content (and its importance) only through the tags in which the content lies. So, why not help the search engines (and in turn help yourself too) by using H1 to H5 tags for the purpose that they exist.
So, use this trick and give a boost to your overall search engine optimization strategy (and keep looking for more keyword based SEO tricks).
